Privacy policy
This website collects little data, and only when you send it: when you join the newsletter, submit a publishing proposal or write through the contact form. Here is, in plain words, what is stored, why, and what you can do about it.
Data controller
Pablo Sántxez, author of Fundraising Face to Face and owner of the Fundraising Minds brand, based in Spain. You can contact me about any privacy matter through the contact form on this website.
What data is collected and why
- Newsletter: your email address and the language you signed up in. They are used solely to send you news about the book and Fundraising Minds publications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Publishing proposals: name, email, country, your proposal and, if you provide them, LinkedIn and organisation. They are used to assess your proposal and reply to you.
- Contact: name, email, message and, if you provide it, organisation. They are used to answer your enquiry.
- Browsing: this website uses no cookies and no analytics tools. It only stores your chosen language in your browser (localStorage), which does not identify you.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you submit each form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). For publishing proposals and contact messages, also the handling of your own request (Article 6(1)(b)). The data is not used for any other purpose nor shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
How long it is kept
Newsletter emails, until you unsubscribe. Proposals and contact messages, for as long as needed to handle them and at most two years, unless there is a legal obligation to keep them longer.
Who else has access
Form submissions are stored in Supabase (Supabase Inc.), the database provider acting as data processor. The website is hosted by Nicalia (Spain). Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the book's 3D library from jsDelivr: when you visit, those services receive your IP address in order to serve the files, as with any resource loaded from an external server. Purchase links lead to external shops (Amazon and others) with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to me through the contact form. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
If the way data is handled changes, this page and the date shown below will be updated.
